Membership
1. What must I do to become a member?
If you would like to become a member of Trinity United Church of
Christ, please contact the church
office and schedule a visit from the pastor.
2.How does Trinity define a member in-good-standing?
Membership in good standing
is defined as one who regularly contributes, attends, and communes.
Marriage
1. We are interested in having our wedding at Trinity. What do
we need to do?
Couples (one man and one woman) wanting to plan a wedding at Trinity United
Church of Christ need to contact the church
office to request an application form and fee schedule. The Consistory
(governing body) makes decisions regarding Christian marriage at Trinity.
Baptism
1. What must I do to have my child baptized at Trinity?
The UCC recognizes both adult and infant baptism. Please contact the pastor
if you are interested in arranging a service of the Sacrament of Holy
Baptism.
Christian Education
1. How can I enroll in any of the various Christian education
classes?
Christian education classes are available for all age groups. Three adult
classes are available. To enroll in any class or to discover what each
class offers, please contact the Christian Education Commission via the
church office.
Communion
1. Who may take communion?
Holy Communion is extended to all who are baptized and confirmed members of
a Christian church.
2. How often do you celebrate communion?
The schedule for communion in 2009 is as follows: Ash Wednesday,
February 25, 7:30 PM, Maundy Thursday, April 9, 7:30 PM, Easter Sunday,
April 12, 9:00 AM, Pentecost, May 31,
9:00 AM, Sunday, August 2,
9:00 AM, World Communion Sunday, October 4,
9:00 AM, First Sunday of Advent, November 29,
9:00 AM,
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, December 24, 10:30 PM. Home communion
is offered to homebound persons.

1. How can I request use of Trinity’s facilities?
The Consistory makes all decisions regarding building usage. Please click

1. What is the United Church of Christ?
The United Church of Christ is a uniting and united church. Formed in 1957
from a merger of the Congregational Christian and Evangelical Reformed
churches, this denomination has been on the cutting edge of working for
justice, including justice for women and minorities. For more information,

1. How can I request personal counseling or pastoral visitation?
You may mail or call the church
office to arrange a meeting with the pastor either in his study or
at your home.
Other
1. How can I post information to the Trinity website?
The church secretary is in
charge of maintaining the website, which includes the posting of information.
Contact her in the church office
between the hours of 8:00 AM – 1:00
PM, Monday through Friday.
2. How can I obtain general information about Trinity?
You can find out more information about Trinity and its ministries by
visiting worship on Sunday morning at 8:00 AM or 10:15 AM and Christian
education classes on Sundays at 9:00 AM. Please feel free to contact the
